The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter
There's some new visitors staying at the boarding house, and they have a keen interest in Stanley, the long time resident. What do they want? How do they know Stanley? Why is he so afraid of them? Suddenly, this simple, easy world has spun wildly out of control.

Comfort and stagnancy turned on its head. Comedy, menace, realism, and absurdism interweaved and juxtaposed, creating a dizzying and terrifying sage of fear, confrontation, manipulation and domination.

Our production of this dense, nuanced text delved deep into the hidden meanings, complex neuroses, and comprehensive character biographies hinted at in the play. Building the show on the foundations of strong dramaturgical text analysis and a sleek, simple yet detailed design aesthetic culminated in an authentic and compelling performance of a challenging text.
